Design premise
The brief required enhancing the additive manufacturing process.
From this, research was initiated that identified home recording (currently experiencing strong growth) as a field in which 3D printing can offer real added value.
Homes are evolving into multifunctional spaces, also used for videoconferencing, streaming, and podcasting. At the same time, the music sector is seeing greater accessibility to tools that are increasingly close to professional quality, even in domestic environments.

RECORDING

Design question
How might we simplify the home vocal recording experience by leveraging 3D printing to create an integrated system, promoting accessibility without assembly complexity?
The solution

MYVO is a portable vocal booth entirely 3D-printed, designed to simplify high-quality audio recording in a home environment. It integrates elements such as a mic screen, pop filter, and shock mount into a single structure, optimizing both assembly and use.
Made of PA12, it features a complex internal sound-absorbing structure that is difficult to achieve with other processes. 3D printing also allows for the customization of patterns and dimensions, adapting the product to different needs and recording contexts.

How it work

CUSTOMIZE
The proposal is structured as a service: the user scans the recording environment or inputs their data into a dedicated platform. The system generates an optimized sound-absorbing pattern for that environment, which is then produced through 3D printing, already fully assembled.

RECORD
Once received, it is possible to record audio anywhere and at any time, using a smartphone, microphones, or any recording device.
